Since our founding in 2010, AgingInPlace.org has featured products and services curated specifically to help older adults age with dignity and independence in their own homes. While this is still at our core, we’re focused on growth.

Our vision is to expand AgingInPlace.org from a product review site to a complete guide to aging at home for both older adults and caregivers.

Amber Snow, Professor Of Nursing

Amber Snow is a board-certified geriatric nurse practitioner who began her clinical career in 2009. She also researches and writes about long-term care facilities and crisis management.

Emily Breaux, Writer

Emily Breaux has written for multiple audiences in healthcare, higher education, tech, and more, combining her writing experience with her background in education. She currently specializes in medical alert systems and has spent 700+ hours researching and reviewing products. Emily also supplements her research with interviews with medical experts and brand experts to create helpful, informative content for her readers. She is an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and received her certification from A.I. Prince in Hartford, Conn., and is licensed with the State Board of Nursing in Massachusetts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Curry College in Milton, Mass. Ayla has over four years of experience writing in the health field, focusing on educating and empowering readers to make the best health decisions for their conditions and lifestyle.
